(2009-2010) Curtis was born in Yarrawonga, Victoria, Australia she is the daughter of Carmencita Ojales a Filipina from Bolinao Pangasinan and James Ernest Curtis-Smith an Australian lawyer. Her father was married by Ojales on the 29th of October, 1982. Her younger sister Jasmine is also an actress. Their father was a half-sister called Clare and she passed away in 2007 at the age of 4 months of cardiovascular disease.
